Political scientist with a master's degree in public policy and associate researcher at the Political-Electoral Observatory at Diego Portales University. He is a professor at the University of Santiago, Chile and Diego Portales University. He has carried out research on political parties, elections, public opinion, and the legislative process and has been published in different books and in the following journals: Journal of Development Economics, Contemporary Politics, Latin American Research Review, Bulletin of Latin American Research, Revista Politica (a Political Journal at the University of Chile), Canadian Journal of Political Science and Journal of Latin American Studies.
