Professor Segovia holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan, United States; Master in Political Science and Sociologist, both from the Catholic University of Chile. Since 2014 PhD. Segovia has worked at Universidad Diego Portales, where she held roles of research, teaching and Director of the Institute of Social Sciences on two occasions. Previously, she was Researcher and Director of the Public Opinion Program at the Center for Public Studies, Professor at the Institute of Sociology at the Catholic University of Chile and Researcher at the Department of Studies of the National Television Council. Since 2021 she is Researcher at the Center for the Study of Conflict and Social Cohesion (COES), a scientific initiative funded by the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID). She has been Researcher of several scientific projects, such as FONDECYT, FONDEF, Núcleo Milenio, UNDP and international programs. She is the author of numerous articles published in international indexed academic journals, book chapters and presentations at international conferences.
