The academic from the Department of Political Studies, Dr. Lucía Dammert, was awarded the Fund for Scientific and Technological Research (FONDECYT) in its Regular contest version with the project "Consolidating authoritarian police forces in democracy: The cases of Chile, Colombia and Peru".
This project, which addresses the process of implementing police reforms in Chile, Colombia and Peru, is positioned as an important milestone in the academic career of Dr. Dammert, who has extensive experience in this area. Being an instance to contribute to the debate and development of these teas in Latin America.
