Distinguished PhD. Antonello Canzano visits the DEP
The distinguished Italian political scientist, Dr. Antonello Canzano, arrived in Chile as a visiting professor of the Department of Political Studies. Dr. Canzano is a professor at the Gabriel D'Anunzio and Rome 3 Universities. His area of academic work is Political Sociology and his lines of research are Populism in Europe, Sociopolitical and Party Evolution in Chile, Bolivia and Colombia, and Transnational Organized Crime.
During his stay in the Department of Political Studies, the academic will carry out field work on his research on sociopolitical evolution and political parties in Chile. He will also participate in discussions and will present the results of his research in courses of the Bachelor's Degree in International Studies.
Professor Canzano's visit will last from August 1 to September 13, 2022.
