DEP graduates release "Corruption in brief"

Political Studies (DEP), Alexis Garrido and Francisco González, launched the book "Corruption in brief", which argues that those who hold power will always seek to concentrate it and that regaining confidence in institutions and companies is vital for citizens.
Likewise, the academics indicate that the book was first going to be more focused on terminology, but that the constituent process later influenced its content, as they see it as a great opportunity to democratize and generate greater institutional inclusiveness.
The authors delve deeper into this issue in the country, in which they postulate the need for greater transparency measures, something demanded by the mobilized citizenry.
In an era marked by information, we understand that citizens have the right to access clear, transparent information without conflict of interest on how the mechanisms of control and oversight of the powers of the State operate and how these can be captured by formal and/or informal actors for their own interests.
